RX 480's are up @ Newegg right now.

I got 2, may cancel one tho. Waiting on the R470 as I want one for a SFF build. The waiting :(

I got two of the 4GB right when the came into stock. As soon as I checked out went and looked and they were OOS. I wanted 4 of them. It would only let me do 2. So I bought 2 Sapphire and 2 Powercolor 8GB ones.
 
Grabbed a Sapphire 8GB. XFX with backplate was listed for $250 fora bit then the price went up to $270.
 
In for an XFX Black Edition. Too expensive, but what the heck. I've never bought a day-one card before, so I can check that off my bucket list :)
 
Still in stock an hour later.... Way better than the 1080 launch.
 
You guys are crazy!! Worse than me lol. 6 of them damn!!!! I stopped buying reference though. I guess you guys are throwing them in htpc and may be bunch of mining. Awesome though.

I'm planning on putting them on water with the EK full water block and having some fun if nothing else.
 
originally was planning on 5, but since ethereum price plummeted -- im playing it cautious. Besides all my PCI-E slots will be full now.

I went the other way. My first reference card was the NVIDIA GTX 970 (since sold). I also have that same design in an EVGA GTX 980. Really liked those cards, so I'm a reference convert. I actually like the looks of the reference cards better., especially with a backplate (not that it really matters) And I was encouraged by Kyle's comment that while gaming, the reference 480 is pretty quiet, unless you manually rev up the fan :).
 
I was looking at the XFX model with the included DP to DVI adapter, went into the kitchen to get coffee and debate putting in my cart, came back and it was sold out. Ha, looks like I'll be waiting a little while. Probably the more prudent route anyway.
 
Best buy has the 4GB up for 249.99 .... Way to price gouge over MSRP of 199.99.
 
Yeah but they wont let you add one to cart online and I'm not sure they price match themselves in store

This is the company where computers in the store would take you to a version of their site that had higher prices than the regular version so you couldn't tell if they were running a better special online
 
Still in stock 3 and half hours later.... Holy Supply. WTG AMD on having enough to go around.
 
I picked up one to replace my dead 290x and dying modded 6950. Great price for a 1080P gaming rig.
 
I ended up getting cold feet and cancelling my order... so I made one unit available for someone else :) May just reconsider a used 970, since I don't have any cutting edge needs. Meanwhile, I thought the RX 470's were coming out today as well?
