thread on guru3d reporting massive improvements for BO3. Most notable is crossfire is fixed.

no, it does not.

It does however improve min frames in single card for FO4.

ive had screen flickering issues(280x) for most of this year, until version 15.11 came out, then it was gone. with 15.11.1, it is back... :(

Strange, in CF? I'm running 2x 280x cards and haven't seen flickering in a long time, any games in particular?

does it add crossfire for Fallout4?

https://www.reddit.com/r/fo4/comments/3t5b5o/got_crossfire_working_with_15111_beta_driver/

I couldn't get Crossfire working with earlier drivers no matter what I tried, but now with 15.11.1 I selected "AFR friendly" mode for fallout4.exe and now it's running fine.
50-60 fps at 5120x2880, everything maxed except no motion blur (I hate that), no godrays, no antialiasing (they just make things blurry). Some ini tweaks to increase draw distances.

Is nvidia doesn't have sli on their gameworst title do you expect the folks at radeon tech to have it. Rumor is there won't be an sli profile until bugthesda fixes their pos game according to nvidia.

single 280x and its not the whole screen but colored lines flicker horizontally across the top of the screen. only happens when in 2d and at low ram speeds. it looks like vram voltage issues. if I disable powerplay in afterburner it goes away. it was fixed in 15.11(didn't have to disable powerplay) but it is happening again in 15.11.1.

I have 2 separated 280X that I could use to make some test, but I've never had that kind of issue beyond Google Chrome with hardware acceleration that make the card constant switch between 2D and 3D clocks.. I'll be testing tonight with those cards..

also, if I switch and apply afterburner profiles several times it will stop. it also goes away after gaming.

why the fuck would I care if NVidia has an SLi profile

its a new driver, it says performance optimizations for Fallout 4, the first question anyone is going to ask is whether or not it includes a Crossfire support. whether or not NVidia has gotten SLi going means fuck-all to whether or not this driver allows us to run Crossfire or not

fucking fanbois

so far no issues with Sapphire Toxic 280X.. tomorrow will be testing With the Gigabyte..

Idiots are everywhere it seems. its a gameworks title(expect a late cfx release) if nvidia has a game day sli profile first day, nvidia didn't reason take gameworst + bugthesda = a lot of trouble it seems. Even nvidia on their own gameworst title couldn't figure out a way to enable sli and told bugthesda to fix their game in order for sli to be enabled which means cfx won't come soon until they try to figure out how on this gameworst title.

why you always have to be so ignorant?. spitting shit out everywhere without know... Fallout 4 isn't a GameWorks Tittle, it just use one GameWork Feature, that doesn't convert it into GameWorks.. and the problem with the game it's the game itself and even Nvidia said they can not make the SLI profile until bethesda fix things in their game with later Game Patch...

Post #8 listed a Crossfire workaround. I would just try that and see how it works.

Well, i tried fiddling with my Asus 280x DC2 cards, AB, and different settings, but couldn't replicate the issue. Not sure what that is about.

updating this.. no issues either with the Gigabyte.. both overclocked or not, the gigabyte even with the crappy Elpida vRAM module no issues.. so it seems you have a driver issue there.. as said before, only flicker so far i've ever experienced are related to google chrome hardware acceleration..

the card is specifically a msi 280x gaming and I'm not the only person with this issue, ive googled A LOT! ive only run the card under win10pro(insider) so I'm not sure how it acts with other os's but the system has been reloaded from scratch a couple times and it still happens. ive tried bios updates too without any luck. it started happening with one of the betas in april or may and only beta 15.11 fixed it( I install every "beta"). I know how to work around it and just live with it. one day it will get fixed or ill upgrade.

here's another [H] post about it with a video: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1870948

Kinda weird then.. is not about your card specifically, according to that post other cards suffered from the flicker... i'll keep toying a bit with the 280X, anyway i'm not gaming too much..

I never had flickering with my 7970/280X but I suppose their could be some issue with a certain batch of GPU.

in my opinion always a driver bug as according pendragon1 it was fixed with 15.11 and now its present again.

Another update, just have noticed...IDK why but with 15.11.1 2D clocks have increased voltage from 0.850v to 0.950v (like the one used to video playback and so on). so I guess that same could be happening to vRAM causing the mentioned Flicker. however I'm not suffering with my both cards.
