Xbox One backward compatible with 360 !!!

Microsoft has a place where you can vote on what Xbox 360 games you want to work on Xbox One with the backwards compatibility...Tops is Red Dead Redemption with 34,862 votes, followed by Call of Duty: Black Ops II, Skyrim, Halo: Reach, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2
 
RDR being #1 is not surprising

Would have sold my 360 years ago if not for that one game.

To be honest, I'm surprised that they have not developed a sequel to it (or at least announced one), or created a remastered version of it for this generation. I'm fairly certain that a remastered version would sell more than enough copies to cover development costs and then some.

I've read various rumors over the years about the RDR code being a mess and the original team no longer being around.

Don't know how much validity there is to that, but in any case the popular belief is that RDR2 is what they've been working on for years now and will be their next big release. And if that's true then doing a remaster of RDR at this point would probably just water down the impact of RDR2, thus they're not interested. RDR is definitely the title I've most wanted a PC port of for the past 5 years.

Gotta remember a lot of younger players on consoles. Kids hearing the words "Call of Duty" is like a dog hearing the word "go for a WALK?" - pavlovian response, instant excitement and urine dribblets.
