Johan Andersson of Paradox Interactive tweeted this picture today with the following caption "This new island is one seriously impressive and sweet GPU. wow & thanks @AMDRadeon ! They will be put to good use."

So...what is that on the top of the card? Is it some kind of slim AIO watercooler?

It looks pretty awesome. AMD reference cards have been way too fugly in the past.

Having a watercooled 295x2 and seeing how awesomely efficient it is even on two really hot Hawaii chips makes it hard to go back to air-coolers. I've already given up on air for processors as well.

Can cross that "bad cooler on reference design" of the cons list I suppose ;) .

Air coolers can work fine, its just company that makes has to give a Damn about it. Which AMD on 290x didn't give a damn and wanted to get product in market as fast as possible.

No DVI port, allowing the whole of the second slot to be used for cooling.

may its just how AMD uses to screw it to the system.. idk.. thats kinda odd e.e Looking at my 970 and those...still looks like that is huge.

I don't see any wood screws. How do we know it's real?
