Best Buy: Minimum $100 trade in for Xbox 360 and PS3

I keep getting "http://www.qksrv.net/media/offers/?AID=10474050&PID=3891137&SID=rewrite&URL=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bestbuy.com%2F&ref=39&loc=01&CJPID=3891137" when I clicked on your bestbuy link. Is this working as intended?
 
[H] must be doing it, because all I did was paste in the Best Buy home page and the link that's right on the home page. I did not manually make a link.
 
Yea, wth. Both links do that to me too.

But while this is tempting, I'd have no way to play my PS3 games if I turned it in.
Pass I guess.
 
That's awesome.. says good till the 23rd. Prob do that to my 360 that I have not touched in like 2 years and maybe my original PS3 just to score a new PS3 system.

A new, base Xbox 360 is $180 at Amazon.

Original, fat 360s that power on are worth $100 here.

To answer your question, no. A 5-7 year old 360 is not worth more than $100 anywhere else.
 
Was so excited to go trade my old fat x360. Went to check it out and my disk tray is broken :(

Was thinking about trading in my 360 but...

Devices that are cracked, have a broken factory seal or have water damage are not considered working for purposes of this offer

...Mine is cracked has a broken factory seal a hacked fan and a X clamp mod. :)

No water damage though!
 
ya thats the issue with mine, had two I had to fix because of red rings. So cant trade them in obviously.
 
I only use my xbox for a DVD player these days. Pretty sure I'm going to go into Best Buy today and sell it with all my games and accessories.
 
Where does it say $100 minimum?
Its telling me my Black Elite is worth $30 and it doesn't want my 7yo 4G original...

Where is it telling you prices? I thought it's in store.
Anyways if you look on the site it says special promo minimum 100$ gift card for working XBox or ps3 trade in. Doesn't specify any specific models
 
Sold a fat 360 with 1 controller wuth broken DVD drive.the guy didnt even power it on
 
has anyone had to turn in anything but the console/controller and power cord. I know my ps3 came with an AV cord and my xbox came with stuff like an ethernet cable.

For the 360: Hard drive, depending on the system. Extra A/V cable adapters that were included.
 
Going to unload my fat 360 arcade, a stack of games, and a kinect.

Edit: kinect wasnt showing up in their system, so they couldnt take it (it shows up as bundles, but not the stand alone sensor). Either way, I ended up with a $188 giftcard since they are doing a 100% trade in bonus for games too. I'm pretty damn happy considering I was planning on putting the whole lot up on CL for like $100.

Hdd is only required by certain stores and most bb dont wven check for factory. Just need readable serial
 
Traded in my 1st and 2nd gen white xboxs that I used to use for media extenders, but have lately just been collecting dust. Still have two later ones. Was pretty funny, guy at desk was trying to figure out what the hell they were going to do with all the old worthless xboxes. I was happy to take the two gift certificates off their hands since I may have been able to get $50 from CL if lucky.

At the store I went to at least they did check everything worked and was complete. Took a while since the initial meeksquad guy didn't even know how to use it or set it up.
 
I got $157 for my original 8yr old Xbox 360. I am pretty damn happy as the thing sat unused for a long time (once every 6 months).

Didn't check to see if it worked. Wouldn't take Kinect as it wasn't in their system, nor any additional controllers.

So if you keeping track they take...The Xbox, the power brick, AV cord, one controller and whatever 360 games you have.
 
just checked my local CL and found 2 360s at less than $80. can see people buying them off CL and taking them straight to BB.
 
Think I'll take in my Xbox elite that's been gathering dust. What to pick up with the gift card is the better question...

Sorry, don't have my receipt. Safe bet that it was <$2 even with the 100% trade in bonus though. I was just glad they gave me something for everything.
