Tomb Raider PC Download $34.99

Tomb Raider is a candidate for Game of the Year. It's just that good.

Cool, I was afraid from the reviews my freinds gave it, but after watching the spoilercast on IGN. I needed to play this game. Sucks because I know the story line now, but they sold the game to be.

Great game, took my time to complete the game, and 20 hours to finish the SP.

Tax is a killer on amazon for me. Tax on digital content...comon...I know its just 2 $ but it just spoils a deal.

On Amazon, right of above the price there is usually publisher/ESRB/and DRM type.

You'll find under DRM it says "Steam".

Awesome. I looked but couldn't find it. I know now for the future. Thanks!

How does the Origin version handle MP, if matchmaking is being handled by Steam?

Bought recently at full price. Glorious PC Gaming Master Race had to pay heathen console gamer prices.

Great game only thing holding me back is the price! I got both Batman games for $5 on the Steam Sale so why not just wait a year till this game hits the $5 mark? I have other a dozen games I haven't even played yet.

Lol the Batman game were already part of many GPU bundles well before that even happened. When Tomb Raider is at that age, sure the $5 argument could be made then haha.

Not to thread crap, which means I'm totally going to thread crap!

Buying games at $5 doesn't help developers make better games. When a bunch of people buy a game at close to MSRP and close to launch it makes a better investment case to make another good game like this. This why we get COD every year and why Alan Wake was a once off. I'm in the software business and I know how this works all too well sadly.

This, your not threat crapping, the person posting that they would rather wait until its $5 is (holding them back until its $5). Square Enix's CEO just resigned because of poor sales and one of the titles not doing as well as expected was Tomb Raider, which is funny because this is an absolutely beautiful and fun game. As I said, on my first play through, 20 hours to finish the game with 100%. If the game is something I'm looking forward to, I don't mind actually spending $10~ more to get say a Deluxe Edition or maybe look for it at $10~ off just after release. I also understand not everyone is financially secure (after being hit up multiple times by someone on Steam to buy the game for them) or is a complete cheapskate.

Got the game as well; paid full price. Still haven't played it yet though. Guess I should at least download it.

Thats what I always say too. I see so many posts about people feeling good about themselves supporting the developer because they bought X game on sale for $2.50. I think it's funny. Obviously if your really trying to support the dev, you'll buy the game full price like I just did with SC2 Heart of the Swarm.

I paid full price and I don't regret it. Some games need to heavily discounted after a few months after release, but this isn't one of them. $35 was an awesome price.

I disagree. I bad game is not worth buying at any price. Just save your money for more grade A games.

Did you read what I actually said?

Awesome game, I already beat it , played it on my old 8800gt and it still looked great. I think they did a great job on optimizing the game, because I had no complaints on this old system.

There is a little free exploring you can do. The multiplayer is fun as well, fun to level up.

That COD comment above is interesting, they make a new COD every where, and still sell them like crazy, millions of pre-orders... and no real improvement.

Holy crap, I should have played this game on Day 1 or at the very least played it as soon as I bought it. This game is pretty freaking awesome so far.

Never playd any tomb raider game...thinking of trying this out...Is it best to play on PC or console?

I am so behind on pc games...I still havent played far cry 3, crysis 3, max payne 3, deus ex hr, HOTS, ect ect....Didnt even finish Half life 2 or the two episodes lol or arkham city

This game should definitely be played on PC. The difference in graphics between PC and console in this title is night and day.

What happened to her perfect round breasts and butt?

Somehow never heard of this release till I saw it bundled with video cards. I am not a big gamer but love my tomb raider for sure. Have played all of them so far.

Is there a deluxe collectors edition?

The PC version's graphics are much better than the console versions. If you want to use a controller the integration is seamless. They covered all bases.
