USB Splitter-Is there such a thing?

I'm attempting to use one Logitech Unifying Receiver on both my computer and my Smartphone. Yes, the Logitech Unifying Receiver does work on my Android phone when in Webtop mode, but I would rather not have to physically unplug/replug just to switch devices.

Does such a cable exist?

I've found (and have wasted money on) a cable that you can pull power from two USB connectors from for a USB device. This did not work for me.

I wasn't sure if this was even the right forum to post this question in.

Essentially you want a USB Switch rather than a splitter. Think along the lines of a KVM switch. There are solutions, but the cost wouldn't be anywhere worth the benefit.

Like this? I can afford that.

Why not just buy a second reciever?
If he is using a mouse and keyboard, they can only be bound to one receiver at a time, he'd have to rebind the device to the receiver he is using at the time, and it requires a pc to do.
If that is incorrect, let me know.

You are correct. It would require a PC, and the point is, I'm trying to bind one receiver to a PC and an Android device. To bind as it is, I need to use a wired mouse. I'm not plugging in a wired mouse, unplugging it and replugging it in each time. Plus, the Unifying software is not Android compatible, but the actual receiver does work when plugged into my HD Station.

for this particular situation it might make more sense to have a second kb/m
