my combo shipped today as well, but they're split up into 2...wait for it... fedex shipments. both of them.

a refurb cpu that i doubt even has retail or much packaging... 3lbs?
shipping weight on a keyboard... 12 pounds? lol.
 
My order should be delivered tomorrow.. Now to find something fun to do with a refurbished celeron.

I own 5 of these rosewill keybaords, I have had all of them for at least 3 months up to much longer. a couple a weeks one did have the USB port break. I sent it into RMA though rosewill because newegg did not have the option, oddly rosewill responded and newegg handled the RMA. But they gave me a new one.
 
Man I luckily got 3, those guys posting on SDeals are silly, all I hear is Rosewill sucks Rosewill sucks. It's FREAKING rosewill, it's just a lower end brand, but it's Cherry Red Mechanical, I think costar OEM. SMOKIN HOT DEAL!!! Let me know if anyone needs. I have one to spare.
 
anyone know if rosewill has yet addressed the weak USB connector issue on these boards on newer ones?

meh... i'm not even sure what i'm going to do with mine other than try to keep my wife from hitting me in the head with it...:D she bought me a $180~ some WASD keyboard (w/ option /shipping for xmas.... so she is not going to be pleased to see the $25 Rosewill )

i'm going to check it out when it gets here.... if i do decide to list it i will definitely let you know.

I have already been spoiled using this mechanical keyboard for a week now....so i might keep the rosewill as a spare in case my WASD should break down at some point.


I really can't imagine going back to a membrane keyboard at all now ...

edit ... I may well see if my wife wants to try it out on her rig also... but she hunts and pecks (the shame :D) so i'm not sure if she is going to be interested in using it or not.

mine shipped thru ontrac or whatever ?

I'm in CA about 70~ miles down the road from Newegg's warehouse in Whitter one box both Celly D and Rosewill in same shipment.
 
Just got mine. Typing on it now. I am not crazy about the sound, but it definitely has a better feel to it then my g110.

so hey .... in addition to the rosewill i just got for xmas a WASD MX-Brown keyboard for xmas.. the WASD has dampers installed on it...and it is drastically quieter than the rosewill w/out the dampers...

you'll need buy a keycap puller (if you don't have one) ...as my rosewill didn't come with one..the WASD did..

mine are the 40A-L ones... some people think the dampers mess with the feel of the keys....I do not think it does personally ...at least w/ my .2mm reduction ones...but bottoming out noise is greatly reduced indeed.


if you decide to proceed w/ damping you might want to look at WASD's keycap removal / installation guide for information on dealing with the keys with stabilizers and all.
