Customer Rampage of the Day

He didn't even look very upset. He just pulled stuff off the wall and made a mess. And when the police showed up, he looked more like he was trying to get the officer's phone number than anything. If this is typical of British tempers, no one should ever fear them as a people.

It definitely isn't typical. Drunken English people are just as dangerous as anyone.

I don’t understand why people get so irate over a company’s poor service.
If you don't like a cell phone company then take your business elsewhere.
If you don't like your cable, switch to satellite or put up an antenna.

And I don't understand people who keep saying this, over and over.

Every TeleCom company it the US is terrible.

All of them are trying to gouge their customers for the most possible money, with the least possible service.

"Switch companies", why, so I can have shitty customer service at ATT instead of Verizon /shrug. You say Potato . . .

It's endemic of the system that has been built in the US. A system that maximizes short-term profits over long term returns on investment, a system that is willing to pay customers to switch, instead of offering reasonable rates normally. A system that values sales over retention.

Agreed. That's pretty much how it works and it shows. I've had AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile for cell phone service over the years. They all suck for one reason or another. I'm only really with T-Mobile because they are by far the cheapest of the three.

Tell me about it, the only reason I'm still at Verizon is I get a killer work discount that makes it cheaper then anyone else (except some of the pre-paid options, when the contracts are up, I'm switching).

Well, that, and a general laziness of avoiding forcing my 65 y/o mother, and 70 y/o father to switch phones (they're both on my account)

I wish this would be done to ALL the cell phone stores of Verizon, AT&T AND T-Mobile - I dislike all the major cell phone companies and their single minded blind pursuit of profit with the customer's happiness being a vague and barely important afterthought... Who cares if we LIKE their product, as long as we BUY it, huh?

I want cheap VERY high speed wireless internet publicly available for everyone. Gigabit UP too, not just fast download speeds. Screw the cable companies, screw the cell phone companies, screw the phone companies.

Get a job. Things cost money. If you don't like that, don't pay for them and drop the service. This ain't the Soviet Union......yet.

I, for example, hate cell phone companies as well. I don't have those 'neato' smart phones. I have a pre-pad cell from verizon that costs me about $100 to $150 a year and I make about 100K a year.

I mean really? Do you absolutely need to check your facebook status while out? I don't.

the dude wrecking the store was pretty calm, i might have done just the same

it's nice to see stuff like this.. an outlet for all the customer service rage I've ever had but am too sane to act upon. if he's got a good lawyer he'll probably end up in the booby hatch instead of the slammer.

kind of shocked that there are like a thousand people outside watching

So he will get a "ticket" from the police, than he will have to pay for damages ,and could also spend few days in jail,or doing some comunity work :d all of this because?would at least want to know the reason for this :))

If Obama had a son I guess He'd look just like him .

I don't think the guy is black. I'm not sure why it even matters.

Agreed, the guy's race doesn't matter, he was simply an upset customer who decided to vent his anger out on their store. Has nothing to do with race.

To the people bitching about verizon it is apparent you have never been fucked by an insurance company or contractor. Bitching about a few dollars on a bill is minimal compared to thousands in damages I have lost.

Maybe it was that 33% t-mobile restocking fee, even for a phone that didn't function as the sale's man claimed it functioned.

He was only testing the fire extinguishers for proper functionality. :p

Why did the video have waving in it. Reminded me of the old days of using antenna for your TV.

It's caused by software-based image stabilization. Many video editors of today feature this, as well as some consumer cameras, aslo youtube comes has the ability of adding this to your videos.

On one hand it removes the shaky-cam and makes things smooth... on the other it causes things to zoom in and out / jiggle around.

I have little sympathy for people who get into bad phone plans.
Read the fine print or get unlocked prepaid.
