Crysis 3 Official Trailer

ugh. port to pc.
Game makers need to make games for pc then port to console.

Youtube Comment - "Official Xbox magazine claims 'the best-looking shooter ever is back'... How would they know?"

Funny and true!

They wouldn't have had to spend all that time render farming all that CGI if they made it PC exclusive. Set the recommended requirements to SLI 680s and pass the expense onto me. I'm cool with that. It would give me a reason to buy stuff again.

It's a shame we know it doesn't look any better because it was still made for the same old hardware.

Ugh, I'd rather it come out for PC first, then Xbox 720 and PS4 as a launch title.

I don't know why, but I don't get nearly as much satisfaction shooting aliens and machines. Bring on the Korean's again or any other human demographic and have a much better experience.

Because they think Crysis 2 is the best looking shooter. And, it's coming back. :| Simple.

I won't buy this for PC until it hits Steam/Origin for <$10 as I did with Crysis 2. I like the previous games, but I'm not that hardcore of a fan. If gameplay comes out to be exceptional and it turns out a few 95%-100% reviews, I'll give it a try at $30-$40. But, I don't see that coming.

Why oh why did I upgrade my PC to play newer games? Should have put my money in a console, just like game dev's are doing.... Folding@Home still seems to be the biggest program on my PC that takes advantage of the better hardware - new games sure aren't! :D

It's a pretty bad reaction when I see news for a game like this, and just think, more of the same.

Maybe its cause I am not mother fucking stupid, but the chief complaint about Crysis 2 was that you were being funneled down one way streets and shit

Is this supposed to be different? All I see is very jungle foilage covered one way streets, WOO, WHAT A TWEEST!

ever since they bailed on the PC populace and produced ports, I haven't been excited to play their games. Granted this is the way things are now-a-days, but their's was especially hurtful.

There's nothing special about this trailer. Frankly, they should wait for Xbox720 and produce a game that works for both platforms better than coding for the 360 and giving us a crap PC experience.

(So glad MS is basing the 720 off of Windows 8 arch. That'll make it easier to port, and with the enhanced hardware, might actually make ported games i want to play.)

Crysis2: Thunderdome.

Could just be DLC for Crysis2.

The bow and arrow is sort of neat, but the whole NanoSuit deal is cooked.

Crytek should come up with something new for the PC.......;) please.

Do a FarCry..........just call it something else.........I'd buy two.:D

So, I don't get. Why would coding for a 7 year old platform and porting it to an ever evolving platform with much higher capabilities and performance mean that you would get a crap PC experience? </dev thinking>

No weapon says Futuristic and Armor Piecing like a BOW! Reminds me of the damn crossbow of MW2:BO.

History.

Repeats itself.;)

Shoot this lumpy thing, shoot that viny thing, shoot this blob of blur... It looks confusing and messy to me. It's like they stick you in a blender (with a bow, of course) with spaghetti, turn it on and say, "Next-gen shooter!"

I'll pass.

Crysis 3?!?! All I saw were a few new weapons. How the hell does that equate to a legit sequel??

probably going to pass on this
i actually enjoyed crysis 2s multiplayer, but the lack of support from crytek and unfinished game only suggests cry3 will have the same fate as 2.

also this looks like an $60 expansion pack.

ugh. port to pc.
Game makers need to make games for pc then port to console.

Sadly I still remember the day of PC to console gaming where they had to remove features from the PC game to get it to play on console, now they just port from console to PCs w/out add stuff. FFFFUUUUU..... game makers.....

You would think AMD and Nvidia would provide incentive for high rez, hardware punishing games. I mean why buy a $500 (hell if you could even find one) GTX 680 when the game is designed to run @ 720p for consoles?

Good bye crytek, even though you killed yourself with crysis 2.

So many jaggies, so much controller garbage.

I fucking hate consoles.

Ugh, I'd rather it come out for PC first, then Xbox 720 and PS4 as a launch title.

Aren't those systems coming out at the end of 2013, beginning 2014? If so it would make more since to delay the game 6-10 months to have it launch on those consoles. They would really be able to show what their engine can do.

Go make a company. Then, survey America and do one based on what system people play games on. When you get the results are:

XBOX: 1st
PS3: 2nd
Smartphone: 3rd
PC: 4th
Graphing Calculator: 5th
Mac: 6th

Go ahead and create a game just for the Mac. Make sure you pour 5 years of time into it and hire on 200 people. Let me know if you go belly up.

It's a company people. They are in it to make money. Sorry your feelings are hurt.

And don't shoot the messenger of this. I love PC gaming. I think it looks better than what any console will ever be capable of producing, but they are in it for the cash.

The Crysis franchise has really gotten away from what it was supposed to be in the first place and has become yet another Halo or Call of Duty clone.
