Any benefit to using Storage Server over Server 2008?

If I wanted to use it for simply file storage, would there be any real benefit to using Storage Server 2008 over regular Server 2008 ?

Don't care about domains (don't use them), DHCP, etc...

Oh, will Storage Server even work without a domain?
 
If you aren't doing iSCSI or anything like that, just basic windows file sharing then there's no benefit.

You can get a Workgroup edition and a "Domain" edition.
 
you can tell the file server what file types it can and can't save, I like that.
 
Bump. I'm still interested in the SIS question :) I love the way it works in WHS.
 
Sorry yes its SIS, SIS is in a way like dedupe but I think its at file name level.
