Best drivers for 7970 + BF3?

Anyone played around with the drivers? I see they finally posted official 79xx drivers on their website yesterday, but they look to be based off 11.x, not the 12.1 preview. Do the 12.1 support the 7970?
 
Doesn't look like 12.1 is compatible. But hey, give 'em a shot and see what happens.

Since that's what I've got installed already, I suppose I will. Just trying to pass the time until UPS knocks on my door by wondering about things like this :)
 
12.1 didnt work for me saying card isnt recognized.
 
sounds like we'll need to use the 7900 series drivers released yesterday until the next catalyst revision.
 
Im using the asus ones that came with my 7970. So far so good.
