Those were from swiftech, its kind of a bridge for universal waterblocks. Im glad the EK waterblocks fits with no problem at all.

You could have removed that 3.5" bay on the bottom of the case to earn some space for watercooling!!

That's the sliding mount for the entire HD cage, but it's riveted to the bottom of the case. If I decide to go WC (although its unlikely), I could just drill it out.
 
Think of the alternative, by going to w/c you would have better temperatures and you would have better performance because the overclocking bariers will be expanded a bit!!

Still a work in progress, just assembled it yesterday. First build since 2003. I still need to tuck a few cables, like PCI-E power but its getting very tight in the back.
