SATA/IDE issue

I have AHCI enabled in BIOS and it is a Sata2 drive, but it looks like its running in ATA100 mode.
When I installed windows it was in IDE mode and I just recently switched it to AHCI, is there something else I need to do?

Your HDTune is a bit old, can you use something else ?

For whatever reason HDTune doesn't display SATA modes correctly. You can check with something like Crystal DiskInfo.

Definitely run a newer program. Older ones sometimes display SATA AHCI as ATA 100/133 with UDMA.

Thanks! Crystal says transfer mode is SATA/300 so everything is fine.
