Was looking at the Samsung PX2370, but had heard for the price, the LG W2442PA is actually a better monitor.

Now the problem is where can you get the LG W2442PA at a decent price in the US? Found it at CDW for $249 before shipping and taxes, but seems they won't have it in stock for several weeks.

But then have to add in:

Shipping $13.45
Sales Tax $12.50
Grand Total $275.94

Did manage to find it for $258.65 through Triplenet Pricing, a 3rd party seller on Amazon.com with no taxes and no shipping charge.

Just wait a week, it should go on sale for around 180-220$ from NClX, they do price matche if you are desperate to make a purchase.

Interesting that they cost more in the US, can be purchased for as little as 185$ from some Canadian online retailers.

The price sounded good until I looked at their shipping which the CHEAPEST there was was for $45.53.

Turns out to be cheaper through Amazon.com

That's odd.... I would expect Amazon to be the more expensive place to buy...

Huh? I tend to buy all my electronics through Amazon.com as they generally offere the lowest prices and plus free shipping; hard to beat.

NClX sounded good until you add in the ridiculous shipping charge.

Well I got it, but the DVI cable isn't working through the 6870. Right now it only works with the VGA cable through the integrated MB 790GX.

Ideas?

Well, I gave up on the DVI & used an HDMI cable I had around. So far so good. I gotta say though the OSD is hard to move around.
