Please post your overclock, temperature(idle/load prime95 small cpu stress min 1 hr), cpu, and heatsink. (optional thermal paste)

Thank you!

2600k OC @ 4.9GHz
32 idle / 64 load (1 core higher than rest by 2 degrees)
Corsair H70 & (2) 120mm fans running at 50% via MSI Control Center II)
Artic Silver 5

At 4.5GHz, where I normally run it, temps are far lower...mid20s idle and 56° under load.

I passed 99 iterations of Intel Burn Test at 4.9GHz, so I assume it's "stable".'

Based on the [H] reviews where Kyle said it easily passed that kind of testing but real world apps would cause crashes, I decided my "stability test" would consist of passing a long session of the games I normally play.

I played RIFT for 30 consecutive hours on Ultra settings at 4.9GHz. I consider that stable.

Sounds good. I would just keep doing this kind of thing for weeks and if you never get a crash (and I'd say leave the machine on 24/7 too), you're rock solid!

Seing those temp 45°C load @4.9 Ghz,I can't believe it ! What load is that and what mesure your temp?
I was getting 40°C idle and 82°C(reading of Real Temp) at load with prime 95 with a Noctua C12P SE14 and as I wanted to reach 5Ghz, I got a Thermalright Silver Arrow and it's about the same temp !
The problem with the silver arrow is I had to put both fans in extraction as I could not put them in push-pull because of the memory .I will recheck the thermal paste as thermalright advise to put a thin layer on both cpu and heatsink and Noctua said just a litlle drop in the middle of cpu ,i followed termal for the arrow !
It raised even to 88°C (for one core only but still) when I tried linpack with Noctua and 86°C with silver Arrow .I saw a test on xbitlab where the max temp with linpack was 75°C (http://www.xbitlabs.com/articles/coolers/display/thermalright-silver-arrow_5.html )
So I sure got a problem but 45°c or even 60° load @ more than 4.6 Ghz are completly irrealistic temp on prime or linpack or it's not with 4 cores enabled !
My case is a Lian Li Lancool with 3 120mm fans so it's well ventilated.

Sorry to doubt your temp, I didn't read well and didn't see you were all on water except for the Tuniq !

I succeeded to lower the temp by refitting the Silver Arrow wjth less termal paste and changing the orientation of the fans. It's now at 75°C max with linpak or prime 95.
