Insane? PS3 $40 + s/h

Another important fact. IIRC they stopped making this version of the PS3 at the latest late 2007, and since the firmware update that stopped homebrew came out in 2009, all of these will be hackable. That'll be pretty cool. :)
 
I ordered through amazon because everywhere there says ps3, on targets site there is a description of a playstation move controller. Either way if something goes bad I will just do chargeback.
 
either way i wont get anything out of it but i cant loose xD gimme bac my money if you aint selling what u advertising!
 
Yea I don't see the big deal. If we actually get a PS3 then this is one hell of a deal. Probably best there will be in 2011. If they cancel the order oh well at least we tried. I see no harm done.

On the other hand if they mail me some game controller I will raise hell since nothing in the ad specifies that it would be anything other than a PS3, but in the end I would get my money back and maybe even a gift card for my troubles.

Either way win/win situation here...

If you guys pay attention carefully, you can trade in your worthless PS3 for a $22.00 amazon gift card to buy other absolutely useful items.

I wouldn't try something like this with some less-reputable company...like buy.com or something. They'd probably charge it and not refund the money for a while.

Amazon/Target should be safer.

I like how people buy 3+ in an attempt to make money.

fuck other people getting a good deal and greed, I want to make as much money as I can in hopes that I can wreck the mistake in the name of me.

My order has $30 shipping and handling, not the ~$7 on that screenshot. Far more fitting for a full console.
 
Already own the console so i'm just here wishing you guys luck. Hopefully, atleast 30% of you get it.
 
i ordered from amazon too cuz on amazon, theres no "move" description. on target, they can prolly use the argument that the description was for move and the picture was ps3 pictured. on amazon the entire page is ps3 description...plus 15 dollar shipping...

i'd say its safer to try on amazons site than it is to try for a order cancellation on targets site...

I ordered via target... Read the reviews.. people talking about full cost of the PS3 from years ago.. Bottom line is it doesnt matter where you order.. were all going to get cancelled, or were not.

& If by some chance I do get the unit.. I will call & ask where my sharp shooter is..
 
In for one Amazon cancellation.

I already bought the Black Friday bundle for $300, plus a $25 Amazon credit, minus $246 in free Sony points. However, I bought it just to get my free $200 from signing up for the Sony Visa, and passed it on to a buddy who actually wanted it. I'm not really looking for a PS3, but I just can't turn down a good deal (which will probably get canceled anyway).
 
these always happen around a three day weekend. Nobody monitoring crap until Tuesday. Everything until then is automated so people who get confirmation emails, even shipping notices should probably expect to receive....

....a new CAR!!!

As they say, Proof or it didn't happen.

No way someone is going to eat $150+ PER ps3... no way..... that's a huge $5,000+ loss for Target so I highly doubt its going to happen
