Sabertooth X58 + i7 950 + others

Hello [H],

Just wanted to let you guys know that I recently finished a build with the Asus Sabertooth X58. I'm pleased with it so far but wanted to start a thread that I could use to answer questions anyone had about it and any of the other hardware I'm using (no such thing existed when I was shopping). See sig for more details.

A few of the notes I have collected so far:

1. Running SLI causes the top card to stay 10-15C above the bottom card.
2. Overclocking is unnecessarily easy with the Intel Extreme Tuner Utility

I think 950 can easily OC 4GHz at stock voltage. 1.368 is above stock voltage so how much temprature does it reach on load?

You're right, it should be able to do it at stock.

I was attempting to get it stable with Turbo enabled and didn't drop it back down before validating. I'll update that shortly.

EDIT: heh, I don't know what I did that pushed it that high, actually. Intel Extreme Tuning Utility has an "autopilot" of sorts for overclocking, so that might explain the high voltage. Validation link will be posted after this...
