Very funny, Jstamsek.

Following up with some functional budget gaming! Even the camera is cheap. (And probably older than some of you.)

I absolutely love it! Even though this setup is temporary and on my backup, its amazing. It's running on a single 5850 with AMD 955BE and 4 gigs of ram. Check out you short youtube of me playing Bad Company 2 on it. I was shocked it plays soo well, even on regular, @ 5760x1080. Full backup PC specs on the youtube link:

You probably just need to adjust your aspect ratio. Mine is set to Normal, but there are a ton of options. Eyefinity can throw off what the game senses, but there's usually 1 or 2 that look right. Here's mine:

So far all of the codemaster racing games I've tried have worked perfectly with eyefinity.

Must sell my 28 inch and get 3 24 inchers... Damn I hate this thread so much ;)

Hey what kind of desk is that?

Oh wow, pm me too? What monitors are those on the sides?

Those look to be a Dell 2210 series. Either the E2210 or the P2210... Only difference is P2210 has a HAS, USB Hub and DisplayPort!

I use two E2210s and a P2210 in my new Eyefinity Setup. Hoping to get pics on here in a few days.

Done.

They are E2009W's. They're pretty much just piles of junk, but that's all I needed for secondary screens. This setup is really only for my work, I've got FW900s for gaming :)

Just added a 19" led lcd:

Once I repair my dell 2407 I am adding it (You should be able to guess where ;) )

How do you like the 940?

I love the G940, it feels very solid and the force feedback really adds to the immersion, I highly recommend it!

The green squares are the buttons on the G940s throttle, you can set them to whatever function you want in game.

thanks for the info.

why is there a carpet of some kind behind the LCD?

Aaarrrrgh The Day Star! Block that window!

It's a south facing Window overlooking a river valley. It's a great view but in the mornings it is blindingly bright making it impossible to game. There's a window 8 feet to the left of it that I leave open for my vitamin D. As you can see I just put curtains up (we just moved in recently so the blanket was a temporary solution) which makes things waaaay better!

Sorry in advance for being too lazy and not pulling out the D60 + Tripod again.

Middle monitor is Dell P2210, sides are the E2210.

Spudnik, do you move the G25 over to the center when you use it?

How many times do you use it approx. per week?

I keep my G25 in a box because I have no where to "move it out of the way" and taking it out of the box is too much hassle. I use it maybe once every couple months, if not less. :|

Edit: Also, do you happen to play LFS? It'd be pretty sweet with that Eyefinity + G25 setup I'm imagining. How is the sensation of speed with Eyefinity?

Yes, I move my G25 over when I use it. It would be hella' awkward if it was off to the side.

I've been using it quite frequently since I recently got Dirt 2. In fact, I have only used my G25 with my desktop since I got Eyefinity otherwise it was put away since there haven't been any racing games to strike my fancy since GT5 Prologue on the PS3. I had just thought that Dirt 2 would be a neat experience having enjoyed Dirt on the PS3! So in the last week or so I have used it quite a bit! But that is most likely going to change sooner or later.

I can't say that I have even tried LFS. I might give it a whirl.

I'll be honest, I got my G25 for Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo alone. Dirt is a new found blessing as I thoroughly enjoy the rally experience and it was fantastic on PS3. I actually held out on playing Dirt 2 until I got my Eyefinity setup and it was well worth the wait. I only play with an in-car perspective and the HUD turned entirely off. I don't necessarily get a superior experience when it comes to the essence speed, although Dirt is great for providing that feeling to begin with!! What I do notice is getting absolutely lost and awestruck in the game play.

Out of all of the games that I have played (so far) with Eyefinity; Dirt 2 provides the greatest enjoyment! I'm sure that this benefit will apply to any racing game you try out.

I don't quite know what I will do with my G25. As much as I would like to keep it on standby affixed to my desk... I don't like it where it is and I am not fond of the cables that need to be ran from it. I think I may try to hide them somehow but I just haven't figured it out yet.

Other games that currently I play in Eyefinity are:
Modern Warfare 2 (Ridiculous advantage in multiplayer)
Bad Company 2 (Not so much of an advantage as I usually snipe anyways)
Just Cause 2 (It's just nice to enjoy the scenery. I find myself playing on one monitor often so that I can multitask)
Left 4 Dead 2 (Pretty impressive, helps in online game modes since you can see your entire team on the screen 90% of the time)

Sorry if this is off-topic a little bit, but it does pertain to the experience I get with my new LCD setup :p!

Cool, what flightsims do you play? I've been playing IL-2: 1946 for quite a while now and just got the Saitek X52 system. Its nice but its going to take a while to get used to.

Rise of Flight now has an online dogfighting mode and I also love to play single player campaing on Over Flanders Fields. I prefer WWI dogfighting, but IL2 is stil very, very good.

I am currently addicted to playing GTAIV LATD right now though

@christhen00b - did you make that yourself? If yes, can we see pics from behind? Can you give details on making it?
