Push/pull fans create funcky buzz noise.

Don't hear it at low speed with some Arctic cooling PWM fans in Daisy chain. Soon as they throttle up full blast the noise is there. If I pull the PULL fan back a little from the heatsink it goes away. Any way around this?

Have not personally experienced this, but I don't run push/pull.
Someone over @ overclock.net had the same problem with the Mega and 2 NB fans... he apparently solved it by permanently mounting the fans a few cm from the fins:

Yeah, I found if I pull it away a few cm it goes away.. but my rear exhuast fan is so close its pointless..

I had this whine with 2 Slipstreams on my Xigmatek when going full speed.

You can either use a fan shroud to move the fan away a bit, or you can undervolt one of the fans to make the noise go away.

Or the third option I did was remove the original case fan, then attached a fan shroud to the case and then moved my pull slipstream to the fan shroud, this moved it close enough to the heatsink to keep a tunnel effect going. Temps didn't go up and whining noise gone!

Are the two fans the same speed in PWM?

Mine makes a buzz sometimes so I just have one fan on for now.
