I am looking for a game to play on my WoW off time. I just built a system and want to take advantage of its speed. Can anyone recommend some good games? Right now I am playing WoW, Supreme Commander, Warhammer, C&C, Age of Empires, Dragon Age. Looking forward to SC2 and Diablo3.

Maybe a good racing game? Like Dirt 2? Or something else? I don't care for Shooter games.

Thanks.

EDIT:
Thanks for the input.

Damn, so many options. After watching a video on each. I'm down to three. Need to research further and not waste cash, ya know?

World in Conflict
Company of Heroes
Just Cause 2

Not really digging the Settlers 7

Torchlight to help keep you hungry for Diablo 3, otherwise I just started Batman Arkham Asylum and I'm wondering how the hell I prevented myself from playing it sooner.

for driving games, grab grid and nfs: mw, if you haven't played them yet. NFS: MW may be aged but its still a great racing game IMO, and Grid has pretty good gameplay with nice graphics.

Since you mentioned a couple of RTS games, I'd recommend World in Conflict and Dawn of War 2. They don't have the traditional base building, but they're still extremely fun.

Company of Heroes, i play that and supreme commander all the time.
I would differently pick up company of heroes.

I finished Batman Arkham Asylum the other day, bloody brilliant game I wish I'd played it sooner to be honest. Dirt 2 is a good racing game, especially with a force feedback wheel. Sounds like you're into RTS more, Company of Heroes is good fun, and so it World In Conflict, both very well made games with lots of detail, WIC especially is easy to pick up and play and have a laugh online.

Plants vs. Zombies. It's fun and I normally can't stand RTS games.

good cause its not an RTS , its a tower defense game.

Torchlight is incredible , but i would wait for a sale on steam before buying it. It was 5$ 1 week ago

Arkham Asylum is on my 'to play' list but I have GOW 1-3 and Demon's Souls ahead of it :( Right now I'm trying to figure out if I like The Witcher or not. I just can't get into it.

It uses strategy. It moves at real time. It's a real time strategy game. :)

Dragon Age - one of the best RPGs ever?! (lots of gaming hours there). If you like strategy, Settlers 7 is out and is truly fantastic too.

And even though I understand the Ubisoft boycott, you'd just be missing out because Settlers 7 is 'that' good.

Need for Speed:Shift & Dirt 2

This, if you don't like shooters. I can't stand RPG's so I cant comment on that.

Get Just Cause 2 even if you're not into shooters... the world you're in is amazing @.@ great fun just going around blowing stuff up.

If you like racing games , GRID and GTR Evo are good ones.

I agree with the person that said Settlers 7. the game is very good and will provide many hours of entertainment.

Cool thanks guys. Imma research these all and try to pick 2 up this week.

All three of those are great. They'll each give you hours upon hours of extremely fun gameplay.

JC2 is can be very two side, it looks good but the actual gameplay isn't that fun for me...

its horrible IMO... shouldn't have buy the game base on watching videos..

I'd recommend the Combat Mission series by Battlefront.com.
While the first three games in the series, set in WW2, are no match for a modern computer the newer iterations, Shock Force, make more use of the graphics card. Shock Force also have the ability to be played as a RTS while the older games are purely one minute turn based (with each minute then being played in real time and repeated until you're satisfied).
There are free demo versions available to test them, so why not give Afrika Korps and Shock Force a try?

Cheers
Olle

Even if you don't like shooters, get Metro 2033..... it is the only PC game that has scared the hell out of me since Clive Barkers Undying.
