Darksiders, Yay or Nay ?

I started playing this yesterday, and just finished the first 'Dungeon'. I'm having a great time so far. The combat feels good and fun, and the first dungeon had a great layout.

Definitely a 'Zelda' feel to it. Makes me nostalgic for the old Ocarina of time.

Looks good, but combat for me is def. too slow and generic. Puzzles can go bite me. If I want puzzles, I'll load up sudoku.

yup beat the game.. almost got the platy trophy for it.

Update: yea... just one more trophy to go, Aerial Predator trophy is a bitch to get. I get like 158 kills of the 160 needed.. and then give up.. hard as shit to do

After I heard about the tearing fix I picked this game up for my X360. So far it's badass. Its the perfect mix of hack/slash and puzzles for me. Plus any game that allows me to upgrade/unlock/obtain new weapons will have me hooked.
 
My friend just Platinumed it, thus I'm now borrowing it and have to say I'm really enjoying it :)
 
I got a question:
In some of the reviews I read, they talked about awkward controls.
Can someone comment on the controls?
I am very new to consoles (PC gamer at heart) but my gf owns a 360 so I'm starting to look into it.
I cannot for the life of me manage the right analog stick...
Is it needed for this game?

so does that mean that I don't have to worry about it unless I need to change the view during those few moments where the camera is all messed up?

The reason why I am asking is because I tried the WET demo, and although I found the game fun, it became quite frustrating for me as soon as I had to use the right analog (aiming with the 2nd gun during slow Mo sequences).
Everytime I need to use the right analog, I feel really retarded, and that is the reason why I can't get myself to play shooter games on consoles...

There are a few points in the game where you have to go into "aim mode" in order to progress, which requires you to aim with the right stick, and at some times you have to be quick with it, so it could be an issue.

However, I would still highly recommend this game.

saw this game for sale in gamestop for 39.99 brand new... they just dropped the price.. dont know if that's fixed dropped or just for this weekend... get 'em now! :D
