A video made by the folks at the Microsoft Application Laboratory giving you a quick "behind the scenes" look at the company's app making process.
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.

So Microsoft is making fun of Apples App Store, but behind the scenes have been trying to lure away app devs from Apple...how contradictory! Kinda funny video but come on...
If you do want all the "failed" apps, im sure youll find them on Apple's app store. I wouldent be suprised at all if the mustash or hand shaker app isent already there by the time I hit post.
Anyone notice the sundial bit and the clock on the back wall? They didn't get any time right. LOL!!!
My friend had mustache app on his itouch months ago
That one is a classic. Its also a shame that nobody there learned a damn thing from it.
The Zune HD is hopefully the first step in the right direction. My only beef is the screen, too small and it doesn't work so well in daylight, but otherwise I think its awesome. The case is great, the interface is very nice, and it is responsive as hell. Sooooo slick.
I'm impressed, MS just really needs to get their ass in gear for the branding and UI for all their products. Its a big machine but somebody up high needs to take the reins and impose a KISS (Keep It Simple Stupid) mentality on all their branding and user interfaces. The fact that all of their units are so split up and balkanized is a big thing working against them. Giving Windows 7 over to the Office 2007 lead was a good first step.
Personally I LOVE the size of the Zune HD. If fits conveniently in a shirt pocket and heck even with the case I got from Best Buy a while back but a bit bigger without adding much weight I think I could deal with.
hehe at 2:00 the lady in the background gets zapped for using the other guy's phone.
Cute video, actually predates the first Zune. Microsoft may have learned a lesson here:
My Zune HD box:
Pretty clean and attractive packing actually and a FANTASTIC music device.
