I just built a new core i7 system.

core i7 920. non overclocked (really dont need too)
1333 memory. 6 gig.
EVGA E758-TR 3-Way SLI motherboard.
gtx 260

I am getting intermitent stuttering in games. Mostly in WoW and its on the dot every time about every 3 seconds or so. It stutters and then goes back to 60fps or whatever. This also affects other games like crysis. I have no idea what is causing it.

Is there a bios setting that I can change to remove this? Thanks for the help.

Looks like a SLI problem. Try running them with one card and report back.

Check your cpu/RAM usage for anything unusual if you don't see anything I would try reinstalling your video card drivers. (uninstall them, then reinstall them). Haven't got a clue what could be causing this though. It doesn't really seem like heat (but I guess you can try setting a fan next to the case with it open).

one video card. (gtx 260) windows 7 and latest drivers.

Here is what I want you to do, run a benchmark program and see if your graphic card is performing how it should and check the temps, but I am sure its not the temps.

Next turn off everything in the background and try playing the games.

Last check if your harddrive is failing, I used HDD Regen, but their are other programs out their.

what video settings are you trying to run and HELLL YEAH OC the hell out of it all.

Any chance you could run Vista or XP on the system to verify it is or isn't hardware?

cant, at least not in this case. I spent what i could afford on the system components. Using a standard case and stock heatsink. But right now there is no need for me to OC.

What case are you using? did you take precautions of the case fans providing air and being spacious from compoents?

its software. are you running anything in the background like avg, or antivir? (does not have to be scanning). did you do a clean install with the new hardware? start uninstalling all progs that you added after win install (excluding games of course). also make sure that you have the game patches up to date and the windows update gaming patches installed. your hardware is fine to run any game available now.
