yeah i do have some questions can I put an additional videocard in my rig.. I have my gtx 280 and an 8800gts 320mb sitting on the desk non sli board have plenty of powersupply can I run both of these on GPU instances.. I run windows XP 32bit

You can't fold on your GTX280 and 8800GTS in the same machine, because the different GPUs don't mix well. You'd be able to add a GTX260 or a second GTX280 to fold on though.
 
ill just put this 8800 in something else than or sell it and add more funds for one more 280 :p

First ever intel rig. i guess the gods blessed me with a nice rig.

My wallet keeps on opening up, i have the itch for another 285...gawd let the voices stop PLZ.

i want to ht 4.0 to quiet a few naysayers 100% stable with a acceptable vcore.

Any issues with folding with windows 7? i feel like testing that on this rig.
 
i was using win7 fine with folding i just cannot get use to the shitty mouse in vista and win7 so i still run XP can't aim with that garbage :p and the headphone setting deal, even bought an xf-i platinum still same problem...

was looking at the i7 almost bought it, just couldn't justify with this e8500 @ 4.3ghz or even 3.8ghz with low voltage.. just to play left4dead and cs 1.6 :p

so happy with my gtx 280 stole it from a guy on craigslist basically LOL was a nice upgrade from that 8800gts 320mb that I invested way to much money in a few years ago :p

your first intel thats funny.. I ran nothing but AMD, then when I was playing for Rival I got my first intel 2.6ghz p4 for free and then when I got outta the comp crap, I came back and everyone was raving the core2duos so i bought an e6750 then an e8500 would of had an i7 if I waited a month or 2 it wasn't even out at the time.
 
whats the deal with aim in vista? what mouse you have? what headphone deal? i have same xfi card
 
ive got a deathgiver adder or whatever but my xf-i card stays in SPEAKER mode in vista and in cs 1.6 everything sounds boxy its weird

ty :D more liek 14k now just pulled a few more tricks from the sleeve..

yeah i plug into the back of the soundcard vista says speakers i dont have front header hook up and wouldnt use anyways since i dont use speakers

in the creative software it says headphones but still doesnt sound as good as XP in my FPS games

ohh and crt to lcd yeah that was rough for me also remember if you were a 100-120hz player and going down to 60-75hz atleast in FPS that sensitivity is going to change :p

I love this 2ms 22inch samsung though very happy with it but im still pathetic and play 1.6 in 640X480 :p
