F@H work in Windows 7?

Windows 7 is rather similar to Vista, so I would wager that it works fine. Haven't tried it myself though, so naturally I can't say for sure.

windows 7 is vista.. so it should work perfectly fine using the same setup you would need for vista.. the only thing they changed in windows 7 is the gui, and removed a crap load of stuff that didnt need to be there and the annoying UAC crap..

Thankfully. I guess the hardware requirements won't increase?

they should actually decrease.. since vista is a 15 gig install and windows 7 currently is only a 5 gig install... they have cleaned up a lot of the crappy coding.. windows 7 is what vista should of been.. but this is microsofts last hope for the windows branding.. and will probably be the last time you ever see a microsoft windows operating system ever released.. its really time for microsoft to start from scratch and work on an entire new OS.. otherwise linux is going to chew them up and spit them out like yesterdays breakfast..

that'd be nice from 17gig to 5gig that is really my only complaint about vista is I cannot run it with a 40gig shortstroked partition :p

I've been trying a lot of Linux distros over the last 6 months to run F@H SMP, and let me tell you that I almost dropped Windows altogether a few times, some of them were that good. Linux has come a long way, light-years in certain respects.

gonna try to load up "7" in a vm and then play with it .. I also have an extra box here that I could throw it on as well if it don't like to play nice with virtualbox, but my power here in my new place really , really ......realllllly .. sucks .. so I can't run to many comps at once

..can't complain to much tho I guess , I don't have to pay for utilities.

I'll know here before to long how she goes with folding in "7" :)

Let us know, I'm sure there's a lot more people besides me that is very curious how 7 performs.

posting from Windows 7 under VirtualBox and I have F@H running seemingly just fine ..so I guess there is my answer, lol.

I'll do you one better, I'm posting from a dedicates Windows 7 machine running F@H (classic) and WCG !

internet on a plane.. woot :p lets see how long it takes anyone to figure out thats actually a weather plane :p

That's no weather plane, that's an AWACKS forward missile jamming control plane, callsign SUX-6000, I think it's a -B model.

Sorry for going off topic. Remember, folks, tip your waitstaff, mailmen and UPS drivers generously !

Looks like windows 7 beta will be out tomorrow for all of us that want to take a crack at it.
