Honestly I wasn't expecting much from 620hx with this beast but I've been gaming for a few hours straight and there's no problem.

Not surprised really, the Corsair 620HX is a very good and high quality PSU and most reviews report around 450w power draw under load for HD4870x2 for the whole system.
Nice to see it confirmed though and happy gaming. :)

You try RivaTuner yet? That's what I use on my 3870X2's. Only thing is you gotta figure out which core that rivatuner recognizes as the one with the fan. Or just set both cores to the same fan setting. I leave mine on 40% and it's very quiet, keeps me at about 45c idle and 65-75c load.

You'll be loading the PSU to about 60-70%, so the 620HX will be fine. No need to worry about getting a stronger PSU unless you decide to stick in another X2 :D.

Riva doesn't work on hd4870x2 sadly. I'll do benchies tomorow. Here are screens (warning 2560x1600 res).

Well the HX620 can output 746W at its maximum so you'd be fine with a less powerful PSU too.

Props to this guy he has the most common sense tonight with only 1 4870x2 and a 30".

surely you must be able to afford a better camera if you're buying a GTX280 and 4870X2.

I rarely ever take pictures so my iphone is fine.

Actually I would've gone 2x if I wasn't so lazy and did not want to rebuild my pc with a new mobo and new PSU. When I got into pcs again I didn't think I'd use a dual card solution. This will change with nehalem though..

No you going 2x4870x2 (lol) would be fine. I was referring to some people with 2x4870x2 and playing at 19x12.
