As a follow up to the Hadron Collider pictures posted the other day by our weekend news guy Terry, I give you this video. I warn you now that watching these people rap and dance is equal parts uncomfortable and cool…all at the same time.

Rap with 'real' educational content. Cool. Sounds better with eyes shut. lol.

Thanks for sharing.

I started listening to the song and then for some reason I started thinking about PaRappa the Rapper.

I'm guessing its Youtube cause I can't see it here at work.

Man people watch the revenge of the nerds and think that they can be hip nerds too.

Anyway this was pretty good for what it was.

That was awesome. I find these kind of videos are great to get the idea accross. I have read quite a bit on the LHC, so I did not learn much here, but I was still entertained.

haha that's pretty funny. can't wait until it goes online and scientists get the first results.

I wonder which will suck more, this video or the rumored black hole they might accidentally create.:p

I think they could have pulled off a better dance routine filming a Chimpanzee drunk off Tequila.

Note: I don't actually think these guys will create a black hole that will suck up the whole planet like all the doomsdayer's say. If these scientists had that much intelligence to create a black hole, they wouldn't have decided to show off their horrendous dancing skills.

I "scientifically see" that these LHC people just spend WAAAAY too much time at work ... how many decades has it been since they were locked underground? Biosphere 3? :p

I could no longer watch after about 30 seconds. Just like when I try to watch "reality" tv, or CNN, I immediately became embarrassed that I was a member of the same species as them.

Just what i needed after cranking through 7 high priority issues while on-call. Must be way early in the morning. I watched it, twice. It got better with each viewing. Must need sleep!

It's probably my extreme lack of knowledge about anything star trek, but was I the only one who read "Large Hardon"?

It was actually a very informative educational song. Good for late elementary and middle schoolers to watch to see what the collider really does. Definately "dumb" but even if the kids HATE the song they're still going to figure out what the device does while they suffer through listening.

Imagine trying to teach kids what this things does in a monotone teching voice... they won't care. It's enough to put anyone to sleep.
