Red Orchestra on STEAM only $4.99!

I was wondering what game that was, then the screenshots reminded me. It got a pretty good meta score and is definitely worth $5. I still haven't finished Prey, the last $5 Steam game. Maybe I should get this anyways. Is the multi-player busy?

ya , just checked it out today .

I bought it back when it was $20 and it was worth it in my opinion...it's fun to play when I want something different from Team Fortress 2. At $5 it's even better...

I bought it, well worth $5. I played a couple of the free weekends and its a good game.

I love these $5 deals steam does. Bought Two Worlds then Prey and now Red Orchestra.

I loved Red Orchestra! They had a play for free deal going on for a week or so and it was killer! Does this $5 deal include single player content? Not really a deal-breaker, just curious. With the $5 deal, plenty of multi-player action should be available for a while./...

I just ordered it, and it gave me some guest passes if anyone wants to try before you buy. Although at $5 it's kind of a no brain-er.

Verr'nice! I love these $5/game things especially when its something that I'm interested in playing. Good find! I'm sure I would have skipped right over it in STEAM.

For $4.99 you can't go wrong with this one. I remember all the hype this game had before it came out.

what ^ said. I've been waffling about buying this for some time, $5 cannot be beat. gj OP!

I bit, I mean for 5 bucks why the hell not. If I play it for only 3 hours I've still been more cost effective than going to see a movie.

I hopped on the bandwagon and bought it as well.
I'll try it out Sunday afternoon since it is going to be over 100* here, so no venturing outside for me.

that's hot man! I'm in MI & it's been hi 80s/low 90s, honestly I like it a lot compared to the 50s/60s we got stuck with in May :p
How's your car been running in the weather? I've felt the humidity bog mine down a little bit, the good side is it does it to everybody else (except STis & GLHs) :)

*edit* and now a meager 1hr 8min until I can test out Red Orchestra....

& btw anybody who knows what hockey is, the Red Wings are feeling good this year

It's going to be 102 degrees in GA adn feel like 111. I also purchased the game for $5. One less sandwich for lunch at work. I can live with that.

Well I bit. I don't like the controls at all.

Nor does it run at 1920x1080...Anyone know how to fix that?

Ya, it's been cold here as well, then all of a sudden a heat wave.
My car is a tad slower as well in the heat. These are the days I wish I had A/C in the car.

Controls are re-mappable to the granularity you'd expect with a shooter. I always remap controls for these types of shooters to BF2 controls.

I re-mapped the keys and when it loaded a new map, the keys changed back to defaults, also the mouse sensitivity speed went back to the default 3.00. I had it set to 0.75.
