Is it possible for me transfer all my entire Steam games to my second hard drive? My Steam is about 25GB. What is the best safest way of doing this. I dont think i want to re-install it and download all that again to my second HD...THANKS

I think when i got a new computer, what i did was:
Download the steam installer,
install to the new location,
sign in & get the account basics setup.
sign out.
copy the steamapps subdirectory over to the new installation directory
start steam back up, and i think it should have your games there now.

Here is what I do when I format my HDD(steam is on a separate Raptor just for games):
1. Start steam up, login, and is has all my games there.

I have not "installed" steam since 2006. Been through multiple XP/Vista installs in that time too.

I personally hate Steam. But it does a decent job of oganizing games.
