ASUS X48 boards

anyone know the difference between the ASUS ROG Rampage Formula Extreme and the ASUS P5E3 Premium?...they both seem to be X48 based boards with DDR3 memory...so whats the difference between them?...or which one is better?

X48 are basically cherry picked x38's with official 1600mhz fsb support

They are. They are only a little different with stuff like how many total usb ports does it have, does it include this port or that port. They are basically the exact same.
