Getting ready to start playing with an abit NF-M2 nView / 4000+ Brisbane combo. As it will be limited to what the mobo will allow for oc'ing not sure if the low watt proc needs real "heavy' cooling. As it is going into a mATX case (either BluHaz reDux
or a DreamCatcher variation of the MX6) need a low profile hsf.

Looking at both the zalman CNPS 7700 & 8700 units. The 7700 is almost half the price of the 8700 but weighs a whole hell of a lot more. Both cool about the same and are in the middle to upper middle of the pack.

However I'm open to suggestions! :D

With research and suggestions from afar, I will with smoke and mirrors attempt.................

Biostar / Sandy @ stock = Sandy's retail hsf (stock fan?) >> from BluHaz reDux to Server
Biostar / Opty 175 = zalman cnps7000 >> Stays in DreamCatcher or goes to BH rDx
NF-M2 nView / 4000+ brisbane = Opty 175's retail hsf (Tt 80mm Smartfan) with a "bit-o-luck" >> Stays in BH rDx or goes to DreamCatcher

how about the scythe mini-ninja?

Will look at it to see, but if I can do what I'm trying there will not be another :eek:purchase to hide from the wife!

Merry Christmas! Taking a short brake 3/4 the way through a double at work....trying to stay awake! :D
