Is this a decent cooler for a C2D?

I'm looking to start OCing my C2D a little bit...maybe to the 3 GHz mark or so. I'm thinking I may need something more than the stock cooler, but I don't want to drop $50 on it. What do you think of this cooler (linked below) or is there something better from the 'Egg?

That just looks like a stock Intel HSF.

This one is pretty poplular for a cheap, pretty decent HSF. The heatpipe design will cool better than the one you are looking at.

That looks like it would do a great job. My case has a side opening with a pipe on it...so I'd have to measure and make sure it fits. I'm assuming I'd have the fan on the HSF blowing back towards the rear case exhaust fan?

Its definately a solid cooler, I've got an E6600 running at 3.4 with little effort, could probably go higher but don't really have a need to just yet.
