first thread :D

so guys i am between these 2 monitors, their price tag is very close in Greece where i live and so i need a second advice.

i am all in

*color accuracy
*no ghosting or at least as less as possible
*panel quality

i know most of you will probably say the dell is the way to go , but 21'' is very tempting. so please a small help here :D

I own a Samsung 215TW and I can tell you it is a very good value if you also plan to plug other things into it besides your computer.

For example it handles my PS2 and Wii in wide screen perfectly well.
I have the Wii hooked up via the component inputs and the PS2 hooked up with the S-Video inputs.
The 215TW also has a handy headphone jack. Which is quite useful when you don't want to disturb people when you are gaming or listening to music/

The only drawback I have encountered with the Samsung is that it has problems rendering very dark scenes. Otherwise I really like the extra viewing space that the 21" monitor gives me. The colors are also quite accurate and it aces the gradient scale test. The stand swivels and is height adjustable so that's handy. I would give the 215TW a 4/5 star satisfaction rating.

Also I have not noticed any input lag myself.

Neither of those choices are very compelling to me. Don't let the look of the E207WFP (similar to the 2007WFP) fool you into thinking it's any better than other TN panel 20" WS monitors...and iirc the 215TW had input lag issues when it was first released...but that may not be a problem anymore.
