E6600 OEM $129.99 + S/H @ Microcenter

Whoa...!! Thats blazing!!
My luck...i just got a used e6320 for $150. The e6600 here turns out to be $135 or so after shipping.

Blazing...now if only it'll still be on sale in 2-3 hours when I get home from work ;/

Damn...There goes the resale value on this E6600 I'm using now..:)

I'm waiting on a quad...I guess Ill just keep this one too......

does anyone know if there is any difference in overcclockability between these and retail? Obviously YMMV but do I have the same odds as getting a retail one?

same chips man, to tell you the truth... it would terribly poor business practice to have a lower grade OEM chip than Retail, difference is 1 year versus 3 year warranty and you dont get a stock fan and sticker.

This is the proc i have and wowsers i paid like 232$ 2 months ago.... damn my impulse inpatientness.... is that a word?

Anyone else having trouble with microcenter taking your credit card? They are claiming my address doesn't match or something.

my B2 E6600 is really nice and its great in the P35 board. this is a good buy.

i have never purchased from microcenter tho.

Wow...I just got my E4400 for $125.

Why couldn't I wait!?! Oh well. The E4400 is still blazing fast for games. These Core 2 Duos are like a processor engineering wonder - such speed at such low prices, with low heat output to boot!

Too bad I don't have a board that can take that CPU to 3GHz+. :(

MC also has a Pentium D 805 for $39.99 in-store with coupon: http://t.microcentermail.com/ajtk/servlet/JJ?H=2eonbo&R=1467520791&P=1467520791

Yep. I cranked up the E4300 in my HTPC to 2.7GHz and it's still relatively cool running enough for a slim SFF case. Sandra estimates the power consumption at 66W overclocked, but I estimate it at ~62W due to the lower range voltage (1.296v vs other chips that are shipped at up to 1.35v).

im really tempted to spend the money but i just don't need the upgrade right now. gahhh!

u guys think this is worth upgrading from my e6300 @ 3.4? u think the e6600 would clock higher in my system?

ordered 15 of them with next day shipping. ;) Comes out to $141.50 a processor.

 That IS a smoking deal...but I cant figure out what I'd do with 2 computers? Get it while it's hot for sure!

You guys better jump on this before it's too late. Their site is getting hammered or something and it won't even load anymore.

Just got home and saw this jumped on to order and site is tanked lol. could always use an extra c2d

Hmm, think it would be worth it to get an E6700 and then sell my E6600? Or maybe just save and get a Q6600. Hmmmmm.

Yes! Was almost going to jump on an e4400 when this comes around!
Just payed for an e6600! I'm sure it'll be a nice step up from my PD:D
