Well as happy as I was to see USPS deliver my box from the UK, that was about all the happiness experienced. After waiting 12 days for my blocks (8800 FC, 680i block), I was sadened by the missing screws and such for the blocks. I don't know if AquaPC's opens the boxes or what but it was missing the three small screws to attach the voltage regulator cooling and one of the screw holes for the attachment was stripped out. Now I must decide if I want to start a long process of RMA'ing them back to the UK or try and find a way to fix this mess.

were they sealed with EK's white tape? like tape with EK's brand on it?

i received my ek 8800gts block from ncix and i thought it came with fittings. sadly ncix's distributor for EK stuff doesnt include fittings, which was news to me AND ncix. anyway, the box was sealed with EK's packing tape. just a though

WHAT! I just order my block from DirectCanada (basically same as NCIX), and should be here today, I might have to run up the plumbing store.

Bummer, if you can tell me the screw sizes I may have them here in my closet stock. :D Send me a PM or call me.

I bought my 8800gtx block from Jab-Tech and it was missing ALL of the mounting hardware. All I received was the voltage regulator cooler, the block and the fittings, no mounting hardware. The EK sticker sealing the box was intact. Jab-Tech informed me that unfortunately, this was not all together uncommon occurrence. I didn't feel like RMA'ing, so I contacted EK directly and they shipped me out the stuff I needed right away. Took a week to get from Slovenia to my doorstep here in Michigan and at no cost to me. Contact EK. They are very responsive when it comes to fixing their mistakes. Aqua-pc's is great too, but the process of sending stuff back and all would take a while.

If you're from the US, it's most likely due to Customs going to town on the box. Thank "homeland security" or whatever joke of a government agency it is.

Same, I was all ready to mount the block on but found a rather prominent lack of barbs

The sealing tape was still on the EK box therefore Customs obviously didnt open the box to take some stuff out..

Sealing tape doesn't have to be broken. I was able to lift it up myself quite easily and reapply it.

You give customs far too much credit if you think they are going to carefully open something up and remove stuff. I believe when they do open a package they are required to mark it as well.

Possibly, but I was told the same from both Alex of Petra's and Hank of Performance-pcs. Both told me that since it's coming from Slovenia, which has a remote possibility of housing "terrorists", customs will often inspect Eddie's products. According to both of them, it's often why we find the screws/washers/ all flailing about in the box.

How is your shipment being done? Like what carrier?

I got my 8800gtx block today from Jab-tech. The box was sealed with clear packing tape and the fittings taped to the outside of the box. Inside all the bolts, o-rings, etc were included in a plastic bag. All looks good here  .
