Google Chief Executive Eric Schmidt made rather unflattering comments about Viacom while talking to reporters at a hotel bar at the 25th annual Allen & Co. moguls meeting.

"Viacom is a company built from lawsuits, look at their history," Schmidt said on early Friday. "Look who they hired as CEO, Philippe Dauman, who was the general counsel for Viacom for 20 years," he added.

Kettle calling the pot black....
no, not really. Not to do the whole I love google and they aren't evil thing. Google didn't make all of its money on law suits though. Viacom has made lots of it that way, and its hilarious that a lawyer is now their ceo.

I hate the fact Myspace.com shows up as a reference for a social networking site that's valuable. Who exactly is it valuable to advertisers and spammers? It is the epitome of an unsecured and hostile website that should be completely recoded.

Sure, they have millions of users, but out of those millions, how many have been created (on a daily basis) just to generate advertisements, spam your inboxes, and generally use the site for features it was not intended for. That is not a good model to base off of for future social networking sites. If anything, it should be made an example of how NOT to do things.
