Take a old Prescott, weild a pizza pan to it. OC'd it to the max, then try to bake a pizza?

This is all therotical. yes i know, it would have to eb a constant temperature, weight of the pizza, stress, tension, all that stuff.. but still..has anyone tried this before?

Pizza ovens get pretty hot, for some reason i think the processor won't be able to withstand 450F...

Well, the area that the heatspreader covers is VERY small in relation to the size of the pizza. A pizza oven is 400+ degrees all throughout. Not just in a small spot. Now if you cook a pizza that is maybe 4-5" in diameter.. Maybe.

Otherwise this is just a stupid idea.

The processor wouldnt be able to stay running long enough to warm the pizza... have you even taken the HSF off of one and then let is POST... you might get 20-30sec out of it.

Thats what he means.. even if you cooked the pizza on top of the CPU it couldn't handle 450F or anything near it long enough to even melt the thing.

Throttling and a lot of other features would save it, but I've heard of this guy's old K6 being used as a mini stove. Even cooked an egg on it. You can run a processor at 100C. I've done it before with my P4 630 at stock speeds playing starcraft (using stock cooler with that gay little thermal pad), lol. that's certainly not 400+F, but it's atleast 212, and could possible run hotter than that :-P
