...and I'm looking at either Senn EH150 or the Senn HD201's. Both are the same price (~$25 shipped). I don't want anything super fancy at the moment. I just can't afford it. I had a pair of Koss UR21's but broke the cord, so right now I'm using the "stereobuds" that came in the same package. The earbuds sound horrid and they hurt my ears. So how do the two compare as far as sound quality and comfort go?

I mostly game and listen to music on my computer. Music is all types: country, rock, classical, rap you name it. I like bass, not so much that it completely drowns out the highs and mids. Mids aren't too important to me, but I still like to hear them when they're appropriate. Anyway, thanks for any help you can give, and if I'm overlooking another set that's in the same price range (+/- $5) just let me know.

Also I'm using my onboard Realtek ALC850 sound, but it sucks even on dekstop speakers. I'll eventually be getting an Audigy2, X-fi, or X-Meridian in at the least a couple months.

I've got pretty much the same requirements as you so I created a thread about it a few days ago. Here's the thread.

I eventually ordered the Koss KSC75s from Amazon.com as per bbz_Ghost's suggestion.

Can't do clip on headphones, I wear reading glasses while at the computer. But thanks anyway :)

Theres other suggestions in that thread as well.

Most of those were out of my price range right now, and I can't wait any longer. Like I said, these ear buds are killing me. Although the KTXPRO1 and the KSC75 were withing my price range, I prefer closed headphones and can't do clip-on's. So, I'm pulling the trigger on the EH150's now... hope I like them. :)
