What do you guys think of this cooler... im kind of dissapointed.. its not really keeping my e6300 cool. Im at around 39-42C idle and 59-62C load with Orthos. This is at 3.5ghz with a 1.4v vcore.. I know my case is adequate because I did a good job routing cables and 3x 120mm with a single 200mm exhaust is more than enough for airflow.

Should I go with a water cooling setup?

its probably cooling poorly because its thermaltake v1.
its an inferior cooler on a highly overclocked CPU.

I think those temperatures are quite reasonable for that clock and voltage.

True since one of the highest overclocks on a 6300 are around 3.7-3.8 Ghz.
Hence your temps are very reasonable. My overclock gives the same temps as yours gc86(look at sig)

Plus going with watercooling wont help you a lot unless you buy high end water cooling components.

Remember the margin b/w a cheap water cooling setup and an high end air cooling one is neglegible.
