Need help picking out a HDTV

Im looking to spend no more than 500 bucks on an Flat-panel HDTV to play my xbox 360 on and to watch football this year on. i would like for it to be atleast 26 inches, more if possible. Can anyone who accually knows what they are talking about please help me out and link me to some to look at? thanks alot~
 
Have you considered just hooking up your xBox to your LCD? You could get a wicked monitor for $500. Heck, you might get two 20" LCDs.
 
no i want a hdtv. i already have a monitor for my computer. i have seen some around for less than 500, (btw i dont care if its been refurbished or not)
