Yup and my monthly bill is now less than a $100 month, because i got my job schedule during the day and i have about 3 hours at home at 11.9 cents/kwh the rest is free...
the only sound i can get now is through the 3.5mm jack, i've deleted and DL's the newest and previous drivers, tried 3 hdmi cables and tried it thru both the TV, home theater receiver and a 2nd monitor. It was working on Win 10 Enterprise edition, but i decided against it.

so i just tried to change from auto gpu RAM to 512MB and my ASUS board would reboot with error check until i reloaded original BIOS specs. GRRRRRR!! Now I wish I had the money for that GT740 (sighs)
I'm not worried about the software for the Blu-ray/DVD. This is going to be for the living room and i have a Sony BR in the bedroom that will stream the content on my network drive.
Is there anything else I need to complete my HTPC?
Just a new system build, 1st Intel since the P2, had a FM2 A10 before i stupidly tried a Dell Venue Tablet...I'm now running Win 10 Enterprise Evaluation on a 320GB HDD, video seems better, still learning BIOS on this ASUS. Should I try increasing the RAM for on board video? It's at 128MB right...
i have a Intel G3258 and a ASUS H97I Plus with 4GB DDR3 1600 (single chip). I'm planning on getting another 4GB chip (picked up a patriot viper xtreme today for $27 with a 7MIR) and i'm running Linux Mint and the video is okay for playback. It isn't running slow even with the OS running on a...
If you can suggest something to check to see if something is running hidden. I'd most appreciate it. I did a speedtest.net and it's showing 22.98MBs down and 3.22 up

This is the video at 1080p that's giving me the trouble
I actually have the Dell Venue Pro 11 in it's dock, with the gigabit Ethernet plugged in. The numbers are constant as I'm playing the video. I'm on IGN.com and 1080p won't play with out jittery video, but 720p plays fine. I just used Ccleaner to clear everything out and fix the registry as...
cpu is at 56%, RAM is at 62% (4GBs) and network is at 24%. quick update - that was on CHROME and I tried IE and the CPU dropped to 27% RAM hits 43% and network is still 24%.
That's great in all but when i had my A10 cpu i could atleast do 720p on my 23in Acer with no problems. So are you saying that everything is more throttled than it was 4 months ago?
I'm currently using a Dell Venue Pro 11 for just basic online stuff, but notice anytime i do any internet playback i'm lucky to get 360p to work on YouTube.
So, I'm wanting to get back and build an FM2+ or AM3+ system to get me some better online playback of 720p/1080p. I have 23MBs down...
My monitor is an Acer X223W 1680x1050 resolution, all ATI drivers are up to date. I do have a Samsung TV that runs 1920x1080. Could it be that I'm running Dual Screens that maybe why the slow down?
It won't let me do screen shots in MPC....i've been playing with the setting when googling DXVA, i get no pixelation now but i cannot still do full screen without freezing screens. I really do apprieciate all the help!!!
