using Core Temp
43C-48C idle
(My room gets abnormally warm during the day due to sun and the hot water pipes running under the floor.)
50C-53C under load (I've noticed it jump up to 56C for a second just by opening a browser)
Should I try to redo the 9500...
Pardon my noobishness but what is the best practice when applying thermal grease? And how do I know that I've tightened the HSF enough? Should it not be able to move at all? Currently I can pivot it a tiny bit.
For my case, there are two exhaust fans above and behind the CPU and one intake...
I have an E6600 (no overclocking yet), Zalman 9500, and an Antec P180. Core Temp has me idling at 47C and it goes to 51C-53C under load. Speedfan shows me as 39C idle and 41C under load. I know this falls under the realm of "normal" but I know that I can get it lower. Would it help to have the...
Radial blur test on my E6600 with CS2 too 33.67 seconds (according to my ipod's stopwatch)
I did this test on my P4 3.4 at work with CS2 and it took aprox 55 seconds.
My P4 2.26 took 2 minutes and 17 seconds. :D
I just got mine too with a free spindle of DVD-Rs. Mine was in a static bag. At first the only thing I saw was the spindle and I thought there was a serious mistake at the warehouse. :D
Now where's that UPS guy with my mobo?
Woo! I got my tracking number. And now I can officially thank you guys. I checked this forum on a whim and got the link to ClubIT.
ViolentPacification, I ordered mine when there were 2 in stock also. I think you and I got that last ones.
I had mine overnighted, so I hope it ships today. Coincidentally, my motherboard is due to arrive tomorrow. I have an empty case at home waiting for both of them.
I have my XBox hooked up to my 2405FPW via component cables. The picture is acceptable to me but I was wondering if anyone had any tips on making it better?
Thanks.
Pardon the thread jack/drift but I didn't want to crowd the board with another x-box topic.
I did a search but was unsuccessful so if this thread already exist please point me in the right direction.
Now then, I have a 2405FPW and before I spend the money for component cables, is it worth...
I've had mine for just about a week also and I'm still making puppy eyes at it whenever I enter the room.
Working in photoshop absolutely rocks. I've got so much elbow room it's rediculous.
I almost bought one of these off of craigslist but it was gone within minutes. Probably a good thing because my keyboard would've been in my lap since the monitor would've taken up most of my desk.
I've read about how the high resolution reveals artifacting that lower resolutions tend to hide but my previous display was 1600x1200 on a flat CRT. What baffles me is the difference in picture quality between LCD and CRT. I mean my 2405FPW is 1920x1200 and from my understanding it's not really...
Just got mine a week ago. Movies look okay but I've got to scoot my chair back a couple feet. Makes since because if I think about it I wouldn't be sitting 2 feet in front of my television either.
Games look great too. It could be my imagination but games seem to run smoother than on the 19"...
