Looks like the new Intel Z77 based Mini-ITX boards are surfacing from Zotac.

Lets hope they are not plagued with BIOS issues like the current Z68s.

Looks like a fake/made up story? The picture in the link looks EXACTLY the same as a Z68 and nowhere on it does it say Z77.

Actually on closer inspection there is a new mSATA/mPCI-e slot up next to the SATA ports and the text between the socket and DIMMs is subtly different:

Z68 text "Super Overclock, USB 3.0 Z68 SATA 6Gb/s, Dual-ch DDR3-2133 RST"
