Zalman VF900 Wow

I just got my 7900 in the mail today it's a BFG OC model, I also purchased a Zalman VF900 with it (and Arctic Silver 5). I should have installed the card with the stock cooler to see the difference in temperatures before I installed the zalman. As of right now the system has been running for 25 mins and the cards temp sensor reads a constant 33C . I am quite shocked as I imagined the temps to be in the low 40's not the low 30's. That is all just really impressed with this cooling solution.

I might need some pointers in regards to pushing the card. I just ran 3dmark '05 and got the card up to 37C.

whats the temp in your room? you must have really good case airflow. Thats very impressive btw.

Room temp is between 72F and 73F, case temp is 34C, CPU is 33C. I am using air cooling (4) mid powered 120mm fans in an Antec P180 case.

After about 5 minutes of rthdribl:

Hit 44 a couple times.

3dmark '05 score was 8279 btw, not amazing but alright.

Run the ATITOOL artifact test. That taxes my 7800gt far more than the HDR test.

I max out around 52c with a nv silencer 5 rev3

Hit about the same with a max of 44C it bounced back and forth between 43C and 44C.

Wow! vf900 is a beast! (also may be due to the fact that the 7800gt runs slightly hotter than the 7900gt due to 110nm core)
