Well, pulled the trigger this morning on my upgrade:

ASRock Z270 Extreme4 board
7700K Chip
Gskill Ripjaws V DDR4 3200 (16gb 2x8) Dark Grey Modules


Wanted an M2 nvme drive, but my pockets didn't reach that far. I'll wait for Father's Day sales and snag one.

Should arrive in a few days via Newegg's Premier :D

And yes I will post mandatory pics.
 
Congrats, Have fun putting that together. I've been itching to replace my old rig but I'm waiting for x299 reviews and prices. I'm probably not going to like motherboard pricing but maybe microcenter will run a decent promo on launch.
 
Nice! Yeah my current rig was a MC combo deal. Has served me very well. I was looking at those x299 boards and didn't like what LinusTech commented about them. I decided this was the best bang for the buck deal for my needs. It'll last me 3 years until my next upgrade.
