yes... the rattle thing.. you see i had the rattling noise from my amp a few months ago.. and i got rid of it by facing the airhole on top instead of the side.. but now.. another rattling occurs.. it's inside the airhole...everytime a deep base comes in, it rattles, like when i play warcraft 3 frozen throne, and use undead, thier little song and its bass makes me rattle when the basss kicks in.. it's annoying.. anyone know how to fix this?

o yeah, and how is logitech's RMA... i know i have to call them, and no receipt is required, only the number on the speakers....and when i send it to them, i go to the post office right?

and i tried detaching the amp to the sub, but no use, and i stuck a sock in it balled up) but it works and kills the noise.. but it also kill the badass bass too.... help? info? anything is great unless it's something ridiculous

Yeah, you are best off just sending them in, but I hear their RMA service is extremely slow. Some people around here were complaining about getting their speakers back months later. I'm not sure if recently it has been any better but you could try.

lol forget it... thnx for the reply anyways.. i just figured out how to get the grill off and teh rest of the process is simple... unscrew the screws on the sub.. take it out... get some hot glue.. and glue the loose parts :)

lol nah... i got the grill of without a hitch and the grill is in perfect condition.. but it looks better without the grill.. and i found out what was causing the noise... the airhole aka port was loose, since i couldn't tighten the screw up because they were facing the other way on the port... i just got my telephone line(extra) cut that thing up and wrapped it tightly all-around the u-shaped port, took the extra line that was loose after wrappng around the port... got my hammer and a nail.. took the loose line, tied it really tight to teh nail so it can hold the port inn place to stop the noise/rattle.....put everything back to where it was... except for the grill on teh sub... that thing is gonna be cut into grills for my fans.

Anyways... took off the wool grill off the satalittes because this will give better high's, hook up my sub and toss it under m desk... turn on winamp.. put sub level to 50% exactly... treble on max, put volume in control pod to 50% and turn on the music and i was just happy no more rattling and z-680's goodness.......

How did you get the grill off? I've been wanting to do it without breaking it but it seems glued pretty well. Hmm..
