Is it against the forum rules to post to YouTube. I know it says no site pimping, but what is the specific rule towards youtube videos that pertain to a discussion?
 
Not that I am aware of, one of the recent Front Page news pieces linked to youtube, and i see them here/there around the forums as well.

No, it isn't against the rules, just you cannot post NSFW content.

Site pimping is when you try to promote a website you have a vested interest in.

The only type of business promotion that is allowed is if you have a computer company or you are a MFG (manufacter) and you would like to advertise on here, then in that case, you'd contact Kyle about that.
 
As long as it is relevant and germane to the topic being discussed, providing a link to a video is within the rules.
