I've started building my computer and got to installing the processor and the thing just wouldn't sit right!!! Every tutorial said not to use pressure so I didn't, but it just wouldn't sit.
Then I hit the 'net and realized the n00b mistake I had made. I had bought a A8V Deluxe (939) mobo, thinking it would accept my AMD 64 3200+ (754) since on their website, they said they supported 64's. Then I found out they only said that because they make 64's with 939 sockets.
So now, I've got to return the mobo, pay shipping, take the 15% hit for restocking and then buy a new mobo.
It sucks to be a n00b.
