Okay... I have a Dell Dimension XPS Gen 2 PC. I'm not thrilled that it's a Dell, but I'm gonna' try to make something of the case anyway.

Here is a pic of the case:

I was thinking of windowing the side and front panels with plexi, and maybe etching the Dell logo back into the window.

This is gonna' be my first serious case mod, so I'd like to have some different ideas from more experienced modders.

if it were mine....

I would paint the thing black and put a mini blue ccfl behind the front plate.
Simple, yet pretty cool looking.
 
i don't know what the inside is like on those xps cases, but if it is like the dimension cases then the inside setup is a pain for modding b/c of dell's special little air ducts for the fans...
 
Yeah its a Dell, but honestly I think that case is one of the best looking cases offered of any PC builder. I'm not familiar with the internal functionality but the outside features are really
good.
